How Effective Is Tent Fumigation?
Tent fumigation is highly effective for addressing infestations of drywood termites, bed bugs, and wood-boring beetles. The fumigation process ensures the fumigant gas penetrates all areas of a structure, including inaccessible spaces like walls and attics. It kills pests at all life stages, providing a complete eradication for the targeted infestation. However, it does not prevent reinfestation, so follow-up preventative measures are necessary, such as sealing entry points or applying long-term treatments. Tent fumigation is not effective for pests that primarily reside outside the structure, such as ants or cockroaches, unless they are present during the process.
